The History of Turvo Farm
In the early 1990s, then physician Dr. Hassan Jorge Mourani received land payment of 10 bushels of land in which the payer informed that he was in the surroundings of the reservoir of Furnas MG and when his son Alexandre Mourani went to the place to find the former owners of the land he informed that a_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_property was not around the dam, but next to the Serra in a region degraded by the exploitation of Quartzite that occurred there at that time.

With the sudden death of Dr. Hassan in the middle of 1991, Alexandre Mourani started a saga in order to find an alternative for that piece of land made of stones, but which had a natural beauty in particular of its Fauna and Flora of the Cerrado.
Over time, while numerous sustainable projects and businesses were analyzed involving the participation of the Farm, all its Fauna and Flora were preserved and the degraded areas recovered naturally and with the expansion of the Serra da Canastra Park involving the Farm in joint work and Advised by Silvestre and Morandin lawyers, Alexandre Mourani accepted the Private Expropriation in November 2022 to maintain the Preservation and Sustainability of the entire region surrounding the Serra da Canastra Park, its fauna and flora.
